Arriving in Manila
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) has multiple terminals, so the terminal number matters when reserving a pickup or connecting flight. The airport operator and the booked ride service should be the reference for current collection points. Central Manila, Makati and Bonifacio Global City are different destinations: enter the complete hotel address and compare the airport-to-hotel journey rather than a vague transfer to Manila.
Airport transfers are a separate budget line. Where a reliable fare is not available, Fareveal shows it as unknown rather than zero.
Getting around Manila
Build Manila sightseeing around districts. Intramuros is a coherent heritage cluster; Makati or Bonifacio Global City may be a separate restaurant or shopping outing. Decide whether you want a direct road journey between these areas or a public-transport route with a final walk. A map pin near a railway is useful only if the walk from the station works for your luggage, mobility and arrival conditions.
A budget trade-off
Staying close to Intramuros favours a history-focused itinerary, whereas a Makati base changes the journeys required to reach the old city. An airport-area night can simplify an onward flight but should be counted as its own hotel and transfer decision. Avoid combining an arrival, a full heritage programme and an airport change into one tightly packed day; the itinerary needs space for real connections, not only landmark visits.
Attractions and discretionary spending
Fort Santiago, Casa Manila and the other Intramuros sites have distinct visitor experiences and admission arrangements. Choose the interiors that interest you and leave time for the streets and plazas between them. A guided visit may add context, but ask which venue tickets are covered before comparing it with independent entry. Keep a day trip outside Metro Manila separate from this urban plan, including its pickup location and return transport.
