Barcelona mandatory travel fees
Barcelona municipal tourist tax surcharge
€5.00 per eligible traveler per night, capped at 7 nights.
Barcelona City Council surcharge: €5 per eligible person per unit of stay, up to 7 units, for stays from 1 April 2026 through 31 March 2027. People under 17 are exempt from IEET. The category-dependent Catalonia IEET base rate is calculated separately.
