United States trip cost guide

How much does a trip to Las Vegas cost?

Build a Las Vegas budget around LAS arrival, Strip or Downtown lodging, the final hotel total, show venues and separately planned desert excursions.

Lodging-only examples for 3, 5, 7 nights

Planning estimates for two travelers sharing one room, lodging only. They are not live quotes and not a total trip budget: flights, food, transfers, local transport, activities and fees are excluded. A price you enter in the calculator always replaces these estimates. Totals are calculated from the nightly rate and rounded to whole euros.

Arriving in Las Vegas

Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) serves Las Vegas, but a Strip hotel and a Downtown hotel are different transfer destinations. RTC publishes airport transit options and its route planner should be checked for the arrival terminal. Compare the bus stop and any change with the hotel's entrance, rather than its map pin alone. A hotel that looks close to the airport can still require a deliberately planned transfer.

Airport transfers are a separate budget line. Where a reliable fare is not available, Fareveal shows it as unknown rather than zero.

Getting around Las Vegas

The Strip and Downtown form distinct sightseeing areas. Use walking for manageable clusters and compare the Deuce or other relevant transit with journeys between those clusters. Hotel entrances, pedestrian bridges and large resort complexes make straight-line map distances an unreliable measure of effort. If an itinerary includes an evening show away from the accommodation, plan the return before assuming another long walk will be appealing.

A budget trade-off

Compare the final hotel booking total and the property's inclusions. A room headline does not tell you what parking, resort services or other separately stated charges will mean for this reservation. Staying near the entertainment you want may reduce transfers, while Downtown can suit a trip centred on Fremont Street. Choose by the actual programme; Strip proximity has little value if you will spend most evenings elsewhere.

Attractions and discretionary spending

A show, observation experience and regional excursion should be separate choices. Book the event that matters, then place meals and nearby exploration around the venue. A Hoover Dam or desert outing requires its own pickup and return plan rather than being folded into an ordinary city transport allowance. Check what an excursion includes so that entrance, meals or transport are not counted twice or unexpectedly left out.

Two ways this budget can change

  • Strip-focused weekend: choose lodging near the booked show, group neighbouring resorts in walking sessions and compare transit for longer crossings. Use the final hotel total and the show's complete checkout total in the budget.
  • Downtown with an excursion: base around the activities planned Downtown, allow a separate Strip visit and evaluate the excursion's pickup point. A lower room quote is only useful if the additional journeys and pickup arrangements still fit.

Fees and easy-to-miss costs

Fareveal does not yet publish a verified local-fee amount for Las Vegas. Confirm any mandatory charges on your booking before treating a total as final. Entry and visa rules depend on each traveler.
